This book is by no means an academic work, nor is it a comprehensive account of the exchange student program. Rather, it is a personal story about the life of an exchange student during a one-year exchange
experience.
It may be far from perfect, but I hope it
can serve as a small spark that inspires and
motivates young people to explore another part of the world during their youth. This book is also intended to provide guidance for parents whose children are interested in becoming exchange students, for young people who aspire to broaden their horizons and discover their potential, and for all parties involved in the implementation of exchange student programs.
